Severo Academy TV
A live English channel made for Brazilians. Switch it on and there's a lesson under way, presented by Bia, with a beginning, a middle and an end. Repeat out loud, answer the questions and play the quiz in the chat.
Watch live
This is the real channel, straight from YouTube. Until the programmes premiere, Coming Soon is on air: Bia's preview of everything on its way.
Every programme has its own set
Short, practical lessons with the English people really use: at work, in the kitchen, on a trip or over a chat. Drawn pixel by pixel, like the rest of Severo Academy.
Course · live lessonLesson Time A1 / A2
The heart of the channel, in Bia's classroom. The Severo Academy course one lesson at a time: vocabulary, grammar and plenty of practice. A1 starts from zero, A2 picks up from the basics, and each lesson carries on where the last one stopped.
English in the kitchenWhat's Cooking?
A recipe from start to finish in every episode: ingredients, utensils and kitchen verbs, all in English. Brazilian, Italian and British dishes, plus a trip to the Severo Market to ask for things, check prices and pay.
English for workEarly Birds
For early risers who want to get to work already practising. Business English from the Severo & Co. office with James: phrases for meetings, emails and phone calls, one lesson a day.
English for travelEnglish for Travel
Fasten your seatbelts: check-in and boarding at the airport, the hotel reception, buying a ticket at the tube station and asking for information at the museum.
ConversationConversational English
A relaxed chat at The Crown & Corgi, a traditional London pub, with Alfie behind the bar. Everyday conversation to build fluency and confidence.
Presented by Bia
Ana Beatriz, Bia to her students, is an English teacher and the founder of Severo Academy. On the channel she presents and teaches in Portuguese and English, always with Jubilee, her corgi, somewhere on set.
